How the service works

MittVaccin Journal (EMR) is a Swedish cloud-based service (SaaS), accessible via web browser. This solution offers significant advantages in terms of information management, scalability, and cost-efficiency for all users.

The system enables cohesive documentation of care and vaccination efforts across various types of providers—regional, municipal, and private—fully aligned with Swedish regulations such as PDL and HSL. With consent, health care proffessionals gain access to the inhabitant’s complete medical vaccination record within MittVaccin.

For data management, the system includes:

  • Medical recordkeeping (standalone or integrated), data migration and input from other systems, and vaccine product data from the Swedish Medical Products Agency.
  • Information sharing, reporting, and statistics – available online, via regional data warehouses/BI solutions, and integrations with NVR (National Vaccination Register), NPÖ (National Patient Overview), 1177, KI HPV (Karolinska Institutet’s cervical cancer elimination program), and BHVQ (Child Health Quality Register).
