Cambio welcomes Sussa Samverkan’s decision to extend the implementation timeline for the EHR system Cosmic
Today, the regions within Sussa Samverkan have announced that they are extending the timeline for the implementation of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Cosmic.
Cambio welcomes the decision to extend the timeline. The collaboration between Sussa and Cambio on the implementation of a new EHR system in nine regions in Sweden is a comprehensive process, characterized by a high degree of complexity. Cambio is working alongside the regions in Sussa to ensure that the system is well tailored to their needs and workflows.
The original plan posed a challenge in securing timely deliveries. Therefore, Sussa’s decision to extend the implementation timeline is a responsible decision to ensure a safe and orderly introduction process. Cambio’s main priority is now to, in close collaboration with Sussa, continue the important work of providing the nine regions with a common EHR system, for a more efficient and equitable healthcare. We will now assist Sussa in developing a new, revised implementation timeline.
