Since Rami Avidan started as CEO, Cambio has adopted a new strategy that focuses on achieving growth in new business areas and delivering even greater value to existing customers. As part of this strategy, Cambio has chosen to establish a group-wide commercial division and appoint Ulrika Giers as its Chief Commercial Officer, effective from 31st of May.

Giers’ role will include group-wide commercial responsibility for both new and existing customers and markets. She brings to the position the many years of experience in the IT/MedTech and pharmaceutical industries, where she focused on serving healthcare-sector clients. Giers joins Cambio from her most recent role as Director, Head of Digital Innovation & Ecosystem at Roche.

“Cambio is currently in a very exciting growth phase in which we foresee major opportunities to generate greater value for our customers. Ulrika’s experience and her focus on digitalizing health and social care services will make her an important member of our leadership team as we look to achieve our goals,” says Cambio CEO Rami Avidan.

“I’m excited to be joining the Cambio team and look forward to working with them to further develop the health- and social- care information systems of the future and support both new and existing Cambio customers. I’m eager to boost customer value using our own IT solutions and to use the ecosystem to create new services that will further accelerate digital health,” Ulrika Giers explains.

Ylva Hennig, who currently holds the position as Head of Business Area, Sweden at Cambio, has chosen to step down from her role and return to her previous role as a consultant within Cambio to oversee the company’s close cooperation with its two largest customer groups, COSMIC users (KGC) and Sussa Collaboration partners.

“I am pleased Ylva is staying on at Cambio to work alongside Ulrika in growing our relationships with our biggest customers. Not only has Ylva succeeded in building our Swedish sales and consultancy division, she also has a unique knowledge of our market and knows our customers well,” says Avidan.
